About
The Cameron House has been part of Chinatown for over 130 years. Founded by Donaldina Cameron, a Presbyterian missionary, the Cameron House’s orginal mission was to rescue women and girls from human trafficking in what became known as the “yellow slave trade.” In the 2010s, it continues to be a multi-service agency that provides counseling, family support, employment support, education/awareness, and youth development.
