Northern CA Planned Giving Council Offering Scholarships to April 29 Conference

The Northern California Planned Giving Council is offering ten scholarships to its April 29 conference for individuals employed by organizations that are just starting, or are considering starting, a planned giving program.

Each year, the NCPGC hosts a one-day conference for professionals to build their skills and network with others doing work in planned giving. This year, it is offering ten scholarships to the conference on April 29, 2013 for those who meet these qualifications:

– Have begun or are considering developing a planned giving program in their organization,
– Have the support of the Board of Directors and/or Executive Director,
– Have the organizational and staff interest and motivation to build a planned giving program.
– Special consideration will be given to applications from individuals who work for organizations which serve underrepresented and economically disadvantaged communities and whose boards of directors and staff demonstrate a high degree of diversity.

Applications are due March 15. For more information, visit the event page. Registration is normally $260 for members and $310 for nonmembers (early bird rates available), so this is a great opportunity to attend for free!
