If you’re a member of the media or belong to a community organization, our friends at the Asian Law Caucus are offering a great opportunity to learn more about AAPI demographics in California. This free event will be held on 2 different dates in San Francisco, San Jose, and Los Angeles and RSVP is required. See more details after the jump!
Description from ALC:
California is home to the nation’s largest Asian American population and the nation’s second largest Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) population, yet in-depth demographic data on these groups can be hard to find. Join us for a discussion of the latest data on Asian Americans and NHPI in California and the Bay Area from Asian American Center for Advancing Justice’s just released demographic report.
The report and discussion will provide detailed insight into these diverse communities, as well as how policymakers can address the needs of the fastest growing groups in the state.
Briefings will be held in San Francisco and Los Angeles on Monday, Feb 4 and in San Jose on Tuesday, Feb 5. The same content will be covered on both dates.
Media, ethnic media, Asian American and other community organizations are invited to attend. Please feel free to share this invitation with your media and community contacts.
